The Story of Guitar Heroes, UK
2022 - 2024
James and his team from BH Sound & Lighting were brought in for the Autumn leg of a UK tour for The Story of Guitar Heroes with the aim to build on the production quality of this established show. Needless to say, the producers have been incredibly happy with the results and continue to use James' services for ongoing show dates.


Marlow Town Regatta, Buckinghamshire
2018 - 2023
The third year of supplying lighting for the main stage at Marlow Town Regatta saw James light Ben Portsmouth: Taking Care Of Elvis with simplistic yet elegant designs that helped matched the tone of the music and elevated the concert production with stunning results.


ELO Again, UK
2022
Working on behalf of MRC Presents as covering LD on a couple of shows for ELO Again on a few dates in the Spring of 2022 due to staff shortages at the time, ensuring the full production went ahead as planned.


Incider Festival, Somerset
2019 - 2022
Adding a punchy floor package to an existing venue lighting rig, enabled vigerous designs, bringing the Incider Festival show to life with sublime visual effects and exceptional contrasted colour tones, making it a legendary weekend for all the festival-goers at this intimate indoor cider and music festival.

Christmas Spectacular, Dorset
2021 - 2023
Transforming the stage of Regent Centre, Christchurch into snowy scenes of musical wonderment, lighting designs and effects were crucial in bringing the high level of production required for this Christmas show by The Glad Rag Production Company.

Red Hot Chilli Pipers, UK
2017 - 2021
Travelling the country for a short tour in the lead up to Christmas, James was delighted to be joining the Red Hot Chilli Pipers once again, lighting more of their shows across the north of England and a couple of sold out shows in Scotland.

SummerDays Festival, Switzerland
2021
The first gig back with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers after the hiatus caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, took James to the historic town of Arbon in Switzerland to light their set at the SummerDays Festival. The sold out capacity crowd of 10,000 strong, stuck around for the closing set of the Saturday night and partied hard with the pipers!


Summer Spectacular, Dorset
2021
James' first time working with the Glad Rag Production Company for their Summer Spectacular: Party Playlist show in August 2021 was a huge success. Transitioning lighting states to set the scene for each style of music as the show took audiences through the eras, for this popular concert at The Regent Centre in Christchurch.

Outcider Festival, Somerset
2014 - 2022
Outcider has been a stable festival in the calendar for James ever since its creation in 2014, giving him the chance to use his creative abilities to light an eclectic mix of artists from all over the world. James' work at Outcider Festival has even been featured in international press, thanks to the team at Chauvet Professional.

Black Water County, Dorset
2020
James was ecstatic when he was asked to light Black Water County's second album launch, Comedies and Tragedies, at the Old Fire Station in Bournemouth, having followed the band since their formation in 2013. The show in early 2020 was a sell out and James brought his impeccable knowledge of the band's music to the stage with an energetic action packed light show that truly blended with the tightness and energy on stage.

Chicago The Musical, Dorset
2020
Chicago The Musical was the third show for James with Bournemouth Universtiy & Arts University Bournemouth performing arts society, PARTS. From the very beginning, James' creativity flourished to bring the look and feel of the 1920s to the Shelley Theatre in Bournemouth, immersifying the audience into the storyline of the hit musical, along with the necessary dramatic effects when required, and all that jazz.


Teddy Rocks Festival, Dorset
2012 - 2015
In the early years of Teddy Rocks Festival, James was a core part of the team bringing his lighting designs to life at the local charity music festival, held in Blandford, Dorset to help raise funds to support families and children with cancer.
